An Effective Rewriting of the Inverse Scattering Equations via Green’s Function Decomposition

In this paper, a new inversion model for 2D microwave imaging is introduced by means of convenient rewriting the usual Lippmann Schwinger integral scattering equation. Such derived decomposing Greens function and corresponding internal radiation operator in two different contributions. fact, one them can be easily computed from collected scattered data. case lossless backgrounds, resulting turns out to more than traditional one, as it exhibits lower degree nonlinearity with respect parameters embedding unknown dielectric characteristics. This interesting property suggests its exploitation solution inverse problem. The achievable performances are tested comparing proposed based on Lippman-Schwinger equation both cases linearly approximated full non-linear frameworks. Both numerical experimental data considered.
